About the Owner

With almost twenty (20) fulfilling years working in the early childhood education sector, I am now available for consultancy and contract work.

My background is Taiwanese-Indonesian, and I am 43 years old. An Australia Citizen that migrated to Australia in 1986, when I was 6 years old. I am a registered VIT & NESA Teacher and am firmly committed to the early childhood sector. I have two (2) fur babies, and am optimistically undertaking IVF treatments to grow our family.

I have a firm commitment to advocating for children’s rights, which underpins and comes through in all the work I deliver to my clients and employers.I also have a particular interest in actively supporting early childhood services that are dedicated to assisting newly migrated families. My focus also extends to understanding and implementing trauma-informed practices, as well as advancing knowledge in the area of infant and toddler pedagogy.

I have held many Early Years roles such as an Early Childhood Teacher, Nominated Supervisor/Centre Director, Area Manager, Business Development Manager, all predominantly within the not-for-profit sector.

  • My experience includes successfully liaising and collaborating with local government authorities in Victoria to establish and inaugurate new services in alignment with the VIC Best Start Best Life reform initiative.

  • I have had the privilege of learning form ECE professionals in the Not-For-Profit (NFP) sector, boasting the highest exceeding rating average in Australia.

    I have a track record of successful Tender and Grant applications for NFP organisations.

    Successfully managing projects through various childcare initiatives.

    As well as area managing multiple childcare services to elevate their NQS rating from 'Meeting' to 'Exceeding',

    Completion of Childcare Feasibility Studies, Childcare Design and Quality improvement consultancy projects for committee and Board managed Early Years services.

  • Completing comprehensive childcare feasibility studies for religious organisations, along with providing detailed design advice that aligns with National Law and Regulations, has been an exceptionally fulfilling and rewarding experience.

  • My experience with Private providers has been highly rewarding, involving tasks such as completing design reviews, conducting childcare feasibility analysis, offering compliance support, providing A&R support, and assisting with policies & procedures support. Through these efforts, I have helped services enhance their ability to offer high-quality education and care practices to young children, making a significant impact on their overall quality of service.

  • I am honored to have received two prestigious leadership awards from two of the largest Not For Profit organisations in Australia.

    In addition, I was also recognised for my outstanding contribution to an organisation's strategic plan.
